Type of task



The kinds of task you may have to deal with are in the table below. Different task types come with different instruction. It is important for you to see them all now, so nothing will surprise you during your IELTS test. Understanding in advance what you need to do in every type of task gives you a huge advantage. This way, during the test, you will only read the instruction to confirm what you already know.

Tips Penting Pada Saat IELTS Reading Test

Banyak siswa mengatakan tes Reading IELTS adalah yang terberat dari keseluruhan tes. Tingkatkan peluang keberhasilan kamu dengan mengikuti tips, strategi, dan saran yang kami berikan dalam wacana ini.

Pentingnya Mengatur Waktu Kita Sendiri

Seperti ada pepatah berkata "Time is Your Greatest Enemy !". Pada saat Listening test, waktu bukanlah masalah yang penting, tetapi pada saat Reading test, pengaturan waktu menjadi sangat crucial untuk mendapatkan score yang tinggi.

IELTS Reading Test terbagi dalam 3 section dengan total waktu 1 jam. Pada umumnya, tiap bagian memerlukan waktu 20 menit, dan section 1 ialah bagian yang termudah di antara 2 section yang lain. Salah satu cara yang jitu dalam pengaturan waktu adalah mengurangi waktu yang diberikan pada bagian yang termudah dan mengalokasikan waktu tersebut kepada bagian yang tersulit. Contohnya: cobalah berusaha untuk mengerjakan section 1 dalam waktu kurang 20 menit, mungkin 15 menit. Alokasikan 5 menit tersebut ke bagian yang tersulit, mungkin pada section 3.

Baca Pertanyaannya Terlebih Dahulu 

Kesalahan terbesar dalam IELTS Reading test adalah membaca seluruh bacaannya terlebih dahulu, dan men
coba mengerti setiap kata yang ada di dalam bacaannya. Membaca dengan cara demikian akan memakan waktu yang lama,


Gunakan tata letak bagian 

Setiap teks dan setiap paragraf di dalamnya memiliki struktur tertentu, yang berarti ada tertulis sesuai dengan beberapa aturan.

Biasanya paragraf pertama berisi gagasan utama dari bagian dan opini penulis. Paragraf terakhir sering meringkas poin utama dari bagian itu.

Setiap paragraf memiliki struktur yang mirip dengan struktur teks secara keseluruhan. memiliki pengenalan, tubuh dan kesimpulan. Ide utama biasanya dapat ditemukan dalam pendahuluan. Ini berarti bahwa jika Anda ingin memahami dengan cepat apa paragraf adalah tentang, itu sudah cukup untuk hanya membaca diperkenalkan.

BARCHESTER OFFICE TOWERS VISITOR INFORMATION

Welcome to Barchester Office Towers. Visitors must register with the Security Desk in order to obtain  a visitor's badge and be allowed entrance to the building. The Security Desk is located on the ground floor lobby near the main entrance. The security officer on duty will direct you to the office you are visiting. In addition, a map of the building is displayed near the main elevators, located behind the Security Desk.

To reach the rooftop parking area, take the elevator to the fourth floor, then follow the signs. Also located on that floor is the City View Restaurant, Serving three meals a day, Tuesday-Sunday.

Barchester Office Towers offers a number of business services for the convenience of tenants and visitors. The Copy Center is located on the second floor. Photocopy and fax services are available here. Computers with internet access are also available. The Copy Center is open twenty-four hours a day. You must show your visitors badge when requesting services.

A small branch post office is located down the hall from the Copy Center. Envelopes and stamps are sold here. Mail pickup is twice a day, at 7:30 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. On the third floor, you will find a branch of the National Bank. All basic banking services are offered. Next to the bank is the Barchester Coffee Shop. Coffee, tea, and snacks are sold here, and most major daily newspaper and business magazine are available for perusal. The coffee shop is open from 7:00 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. Monday-Saturday.
